No way 8a. 7c to either of the two lower offs. Interesting crux but not bad once you know how to do it.

Tried once at the end of yesterday, thought the hold next to the chains would be a jug so slapped for it second go and took a good flyer! Just about managed 3rd try! Sick route, not really 8a. Definitely felt harder than honk down tho!

Second go on L1 and flashed the top. Found L1 fairly hard but the second bit doesn't add anything.. hard 7c or soft 7c+ to L2..

Never 8a. 7c to L2. This crag has some odd bolting. Why not put the first chain at the hole before the boulder and have a nice 6c with a 7c extension? The bolting on extensions to the left is screwed too.

Easy 7c+. the extension adds very little, and there are jugs all the way up the first section. The crux is a technical v4/5 boulder high up. Note: The rockfax guide shows the lower off much too low down.

Dropped the flash attempt trying to clip the chains 2 days ago. Tried again that day but it was too wet. 1 go today to practice the crux then sent second try! Fantastic route, the best route of this style that I've done.

To second set of chains but this is 7c not 8a

Ellis Butler-Barker 21/Feb/14 Lead RP

Hmmm, first time I've warmed up on an 8a... Dropped the onsight at the last bolt a few days a go so had to come back to finish it today. Fun route, with lots of jugs!

Going back tomorrow to sort out sequences but did every move on first go, happy:))

KKilroy 23/Nov/13 Lead RP

Soft 7c to first lower off. Good route.

rest at the crux

Tis done, although questionable about the grade, i'm happy to take it. I had a lot of disturb sleep prior to sending this, the exposure is something I need to work more on!

Pre-lead. Clean to crux, then ok to first chain.

It has a very "out there" upper section... however there is no chance in hell it is 8a, but it is a wonderful 7c

Should have onsighted...bellend! Very easy from 1st to 2nd chain. no harder than 7c overall to the highest chain

had a couple of tries at this route. brilliant fun. maybe next time!

James Marshall ?/Dec/11 Lead RP

7c+ as one long pitch ? The top pitch is well worth doing if only for the view.

soft, 7c+? Not sure where the first lower off is, to first proper belay is definately harder than 7c, but to the next one doesn't really add anything

Climbed to first lower off which is soft 7c. Awesome overhanging boulder gully!
