Rockfax Description
A technical pitch up the blank wall, past a bolt, to the big groove which has adequate protection. Start from Suryanamasker for the original route but the bouldery direct is more famous and better. Brock the Start, V8 (and E6 6c) - a mini-classic of the '80s. © Rockfax

Sort of ground up. First onsight attempt scuppered by a loose hold blowing off in my hand. Second attempt ended at base of groove which was too dirty to climb. Sat on bolt cleaned it all up a bit more lowered down and then did it. Top groove was easy but scary.

Hard - did direct start OK and the move to the bolt. Messed up the move into the groove and then backed off the finish due to wet rock. Bit frustrating really but it is good.
