25m. A former trad. E5 6b which relied largely on pegs and was equipped with staples for sport climbing in summer 2009. A punchy and perplexing initial wall is followed by two more slabby sections.

(Take care passing a shield of rock with grass growing out of it on the uppermost slab section, climb to the right of it).

Well I didn't expect this when I arrived at the crag! Not the best warm up on the fingers or the toes! Some cracking beta from Steve and Lee meant it came together quite quickly. Went first red point but with the second clipped as didn't have a long draw. Excellent hard lower section and really good middle slabby section.

Hard for 7b, but a great route, with plenty of spice

Everything I do seems to be the best thing I've done these days. So good. Took ages on the top section because I can't climb slabs and desperately didn't want to drop it! Incredibly enjoyable.

Good intricate climbing. Fingery low down, all on the feet in the top half. For me only two moves on stuck-on bits of scrittle, the rest seems solid enough.

belayed burton on his attempt so had an idea where to go, which seems half the challenge on this route as it weaves around. style suited me. really good technical climbing. hard, but no problems with loose holds.

Quite hard for the grade? Very loose above the mid-ledge. Nearly chopped off the belayer (and the dog's) head!
