100m, 2 pitches. The views and position, rather than the technical challenge make this a reasonable route. Down the tricky standard descent to Gob ny Strona via Maughold lighthouse - i.e. down to the lighthouse, round it on the south side, then follow a faint path in the grass on first the north of the arete and then the south to a rocky bay with a distinct gaping mine entrance and a sea stack. For Stack Buttress Arete take the obvious, and extremely friable, arete to the left of the mine via several comarant nests etc. If the first stance is taken after the easy gradient smooth slab, then the lighthouse can just be reached on a 50m rope to provide a decent anchor for the easy second pitch. The rock is dangerously loose, helmets and care essential.
