I took a direct line from the lowest point of the slab and went direct to the top. I guess this is the closest route described in the guidebook to the line I took. Better as a solo than dragging a useless rope up the top two thirds of the cliff.

Neat balancy climbing. But more gear than guide suggests (beta alert): both a straightforward microcam and - for those like me who enjoy this sort of thing - a good skyhook! Probably still just about fair at HVS.

Easy climbing provided you find and use the holds, guess E for the no gear, enjoyable

Dale ?/Sep/14 Solo O/S

a good climb, get your solo goggles on. Would be HVS 4c on the grit

E1 seems a bit generous. Quite nice though

Not really E1 compared to, say, Sunset Slab, but absorbing nonetheless.

Seconding Jaime up C'est La Vie, downclimbed the traverse of Duffel and then up this.

Fine once you've worked out where the holds are. Short, and the crux is low down, so probably only HVS?

Duncan Campbell 05/Mar/11 Solo O/S

"Chronically Steady" (Mason, 2011) Poor eliminate line, but good climbing. Would be VS with gear. I think to get the E1 tick you have to stay left (on the face) and out of the juggy groove...

Nice more of a roped solo than a lead. A sole small wire low is the only gear. Easy for E1 and 4c. Good name.
