βeta: Perhaps we should have read Gary’s feedback before attempting this…! Climbed by 2 teams today, the second pair being grateful to be following the chalk left by the first pair. Wet in places which added to the challenge. Revised description as follows:- Start at the right corner of a large recess formed by a recent rockfall. Climb the front of the stepped rib immediately right of the scar, stepping briefly into the corner before regaining the rib at a good foothold. Tenuous moves lead up and left to stand on a good rail. Easier climbing up the cracks above gains a good ledge. Finish up the left facing groove, moving left under the capping bulge to finish. E4 6a? | βeta? | |
