Bowles is owned by the Bowles Rocks Trust (a non-profit making charity) and run as an outdoor education centre providing instructional courses as well as allowing members of the public to climb for a fee. All details aroud public access for climbing can be found on the Bowles Rocks website.
Rockfax Description
Perhaps the best and most sought-after traverse on Sandstone. From Skiffle, traverse the fingery break to the start of Fandango and continue leftwards using the middle line of holds, finishing up on the large jug on Coathanger. © Rockfax
UKC Logbook Description
The eye level traverse on the Fandango Wall, named because of the Nicotine stained colour. Start as for Tobacco Road but continue leftward where that problem escapes upwards. Originally finished by stepping round onto the greasy left sidewall of the buttress.
