I would not recommend this as a lead unless you are very confident on loose, barely protected e2 territory. Good lead by Tom. Gets easier but the gear (and rock) gets worse.

Chop Route! Thought this looked ok from the floor and the top looked easy even though it was a bit wet, how wrong was I! The first few meters were quite good but above that its all loose rock, heather and slime! Whilst manteling onto the slimey shelf near the top my only cam preventing a ground fall fell out! Luckily i was so engrossed in whaling onto the ledge i didn't notice, not one of my finer moments!
