UKC

2 pitches. These are the upper pitches of the Chimney approached by traversing across the wall as for the first ascent, or by climbing 'The Fireplace'. After clearing the Fireplace, walk up the long steep tunnel. Scramble up onto the roof of the tunnel, and set up the next belay. After the 3rd chockstone, climb onto the ledge for your next belay point. Straight up from here, until you hit the "fern corridor" then the final belay. Walk out towards the white quartz wall, on the right hand side of the wall, scramble up and over the other side, follow the back of the wall onto the cliff path, then head back to Petit Port.
Quick tips;
When scrambling onto the roof of the tunnel to set up the 2nd belay, be careful of the narrow ledge, it's only collected mud, use the walls until you can safely set up on the obvious roof.
On the 3rd belay it's quicker, easier and safer for the second to carry on climbing to take the lead for the final belay. If there are 3 of you, then the final climber takes the lead whilst the second sits on the chockstone.
