Failed yet again. Not sure of what is "in",

The right crack is obviously not in. I thought the left foot could go on the bulge (which may be part of Niche Arete) but Chris cried fowl just I was about to make a glorious ascent so I dropped off.

Didn't use crack of Studio to start, but placed high foot above scoop and rocked over onto large, worn flat hold on Niche Arete. Felt easy for 6a but the move was good and it would have felt stupid to ignore the hold. Ok upper section avoiding crack to right but again possibly straying on to Niche Arete

An eliminate, where it's frustratingly difficult to work out what's 'out'. Climbed the stiff right crack at the bottom (no mean feat!) before moving onto the face above. Perhaps that means Studio start, Orm and Cheep finish. Perhaps not. If we put the academic questions aside, a great climb.

Perhaps the bottom scoop is where the 6a comes from? A pleasant route when done with the crack to start, otherwise a daft eliminate.

Very tricky. felt like I was missing something as felt very tough for an E1

Easily escapable, think I used holds on neighbouring climb.

No siderunner. Not sure if I climbed this correctly. Do you use the right handed crack next to the groove or the slight rib out left (I used the rib), then after the pockets do you use the left sidepull? the crack out right is surely off route.

Top roped, out of my range but a great climb to tackle. Learnt a hell of a lot around body stance and general body placement. Excellant afternoon with Dean and Dave. We all had a great day and all excelled ourselves.

Tricky. E1 6a sounds about right.

No side-runner used, just gear in the break and a very ropey cam in the pocket....definately E2 this way I reckon, solid 5c from the break upwards! much harder than Icebreaker which is never E2!!
