Rockfax Description
A fine crack-climb, spoilt by its start. The loss of a crucial block has made it hard. Start below a long, thin roof. Climb up to a peg, then traverse right (peg), and pull up to gain a ledge at the base of the crack. Follow the crack to a tree belay at the top. © Rockfax

Start okay once you figure out where to go. Upper crack good. Generally quite loose

Having finished A levels we were free to climb. Knuckle Knocker got HVS in the guidebook so we hitched from Sheffield and led it. HVS was tough in those days!
