20m. (HVD in the old guidebook) A good introduction to the quarry. Start at the foot of the rib. Climb the left wall of the arete to the overhang (runner). Either layback boldly (dangerous...)over the overhang or step right under the overhang and pull over the jammed block above to a ledge. Climb up bearing right over ledges to a good ledge below the final steep wall and a peg (possible stance and belay). Climb the steep, ragged crack above to the top. Belay well back on trees.
Variation: (4a) From the peg step left and climb the steep black slab above (peg) moving left over the overhang.
