Headed up from Slaggyford via Grey Nag. Conditions were perfect. Beautiful sunny day. At top of Grey Nag could see as far as the Lakes in one direction and to the Cheviots and Peel Fell in the other. Top felt like it was barely a bump in the ground. Located an old fence post and gathered 4 large white rocks from a near by peat hag (that was dry in the drought) and started a rudimentary cairn. Headed to Tom Smith's Stone and then doubled back before following a peat hag to dried waterfall. Then headed back to the shooting hut and back to Slaggyford.
