Takes the right-hand crack to the right of Vulcan. Bouldery start and follow the crack up to a slabby rib & heathery ledges. Up a short buttress on the right then to the left of a rib. Belay beneath the barrier wall (55m, 5b). A short, thin y-shaped crack gives a tricky move to the slab & big rake below the upper tier (15m, 5c), 3rd pitch as for Pyroclast (55m, 4b)
