Grade from the Griffin guide. Worth noting as it's commonly underestimated and sold as being a walk

Al_Mac 29 Jun, 2018 - Quick descent in late afternoon after finishing the Royal Traverse. Luckily the cloud had been down and reduced the temperature which had stemmed the flow of rocks down the Couloir.

JustinYoung 4 Oct, 2017 - Several falls and 2 deaths (both Czechs from different parties) on the Grand Couloir in the hours before my partner and I made the ascent to the Gouter Hut. The conditions were very icy. Stick well within the rocks and scramble, staying off the Couloir.

TomH92 14 Aug, 2017 Solo Down climb having summitted Mont Blanc earlier in the morning. Not too difficult, but an enjoyable scramble - probably a UK Grade II. Lot of rock fall through the Grand Couloir.

TomH92 13 Aug, 2017 Solo Poor visibility throughout the whole climb, which took about 3 hours in total. No rockfall through the Grand Couloir which was a god send considering that we crossed it in the afternoon

Shaun Spavin 19 Aug, 2014 2nd O/S The PD rated section of the face that leads from the Tete Rousse Glacier up to the Gouter Ridge is a 560m rib, exposed in places and protected in areas where queuing is probable. Not to be underestimated.Enjoyable but hard work.
