The crag is owned and managed by Natural England and located in the Derbyshire Dales National Nature Reserve.
Seasonal Restrictions
Reason: Nesting Birds
2024 - From 29th February onwards the restriction is in place for the whole crag due to nesting Peregrines (and Ravens). If possible the restriction will be reduced once the Peregrine's nest site can be confirmed. Please check back here for further updates.
Rockfax Description
1) 4c, 20m. Climb the shallow groove with an awkward wide crack just right of the tree at the foot of the face - steeper than it looks. As it fades, trend right to a belay and good stance on the terrace.
2) 4c, 25m. Follow the slabby left wall of the open groove, then trend up left again up the loose and grassy scoop above. Finish up the fine but short-lived jamming crack high on the left. © Rockfax
