300m, 11 pitches. A wandering line with harsh grades - don't be at your limit! Take 2x50 and 10 quickdraws. 6a oblig. Might just deserve two stars.
Note: Piola's initial topo in his Aigs Rouges Light guide gives the upper pitches 6a+ which justifies my 'harshly graded' comment.

A great route which is easily 2 stars and very worthwhile as it is consistent at about 6a/6a+ for most of the route. Pitches 9 and 10 get 6b in the new Piola guide which is about right. Well equipped with some 'mountain bolting' i.e. more spaced on easy ground but always well bolted on harder sections. It's not particularly 'wandering' and takes the nice line to the top of the Grand Perron. The new Piola guidebook grades seem entirely accurate.

Good route worth more stars imho. Takes some improbable pitches at the grade!
