Rockfax Description
This arete overlooks the Railtrack Slab. It is reached by walking along the Fruitbat level above The Sidings and descending its far end to the 'Salt Pans'. Follow this level back to where you overlook Psychodelicate. © Rockfax

the arete directly underneath `mil arete`.best approached from the salt pans,walk to the end of the level. Three bolts, clean arete to the top, and double bolt lower off.

harold walmsley 23 Jun, 2016 Lead O/S There is (?? after the rockfall) a good bit of embedded railtrack on the main level that you can tie a sling to, so no need for cams etc. There is also a new bolt stud next to the rusty bottom belay bolt with the hanger removed (seems common in Australia at the moment) that can be looped with a wire. I used these as a temporary runner until the next bolt was clipped.

alexspurling 29 May, 2016 Lead O/S Quote an adventurous route. Definitely bring some cams / nuts to anchor the belay as only one of the old rusted bolts at the start is still there. Good technical moves on the arete.
