8m. This climbs the right sidewall via a crack and steep wall – finishing rightwards round the roof. Climb the short crack to the ledge. The wall above overhangs gently. A cam can be placed in the fluting/runnel up left (same gear as for The Dukes Seat). Climb the steep wall on crimps and flutings to gain the roof above. Traverse right on jams to reach a good hold up right and pull up to a slabby finish.

βeta: A great climb, but the leaf and tree litter were an added danger. We had originally gone to have a go at all three routes on this bit of grit but the industrial strength lichen on the top slab meant that only this one was sensible to climb given our time constraint. A tricam was used to protect the 'traverse' which features one of the best horizontal jams in the Peak. A lot of the footholds crumbled, my apologies.
