Rockfax Description
E5. The natural crack system in the middle of the wall. Take a full rack and plenty of quickdraws. Start in the centre of the wall.
1) 7a, 50m. Climb the cracks then traverse right past a bolt to a ledge. Climb the bulge on the right, then left out of the hollow above to reach a flake. Climb to a crack which leads to a belay.
2) 7a, 25m. Descend right to a groove, up this then move left onto a wall. Cross left to where cracks lead back right to a hole. Climb the flakes and corner above to a ledge.
3) 7a, 40m. Traverse left, then move up into cracks. Follow these past threads, some difficult moves and 2 bolts, to a ledge.
4) 5+, 50m. Climb the groove above to an overhang. Step left to another groove and follow this to the top. © Rockfax
