Rockfax Description
A harder finish to the classic. From the stance above pitch 2.
Follow the left-hand line of red bolts up the rugged face to a niche below the top overhangs. Pull through these (aid sling in place) and finish up the short exposed wall. A long pitch. © Rockfax

Rachel went up left on to the slab at the top before the roof to avoid the wet patch. A big bit of rock broke off and she swung down and off the slab (it missed me fortunately). Lowered her to the belay, bit of a rest the she passed out. Pulled the ropes, rigged an abseil and took us both down to the next set of anchors, just made it on the 80m rope. Spanish guys phoned for help. Another 40m abseil to the floor, just. She couldn't really move/walk still and hadn't improved. The Helicopter came in and took rachel to the road and ambulance. Hospital X-ray revealed a broken pelvis (lower small bit) but we were out in 4 hours.
