From the start of First Blood head directly up through the roof of the cave to the lower off on Bloodline. Sustained climbing with one particularly tough move for the short!

Second go today. Crux is getting the axe out of the borehole - don't put the pick all the way in. Did it with a 9 and an 8 off the little ledge. Forgot that I did a heel hook last time, should try it that way again. Not very long but hard moves - definitely 9+.

Two goes. First go really struggled on the reachy moves but bolt to bolted it to the top. Second go (by head torch in the gathering gloom) much better, did the hard section pretty well. Got the hook after the long reach off the heel hook (which is the last hard move before it turns into a stamina fest finish) but couldn't hold on as didn't sort out the feet in time, so fell off, leaving an axe behind. Pulled back on, did the move again (this time grabbing the in situ axe!) and carried on but had a rest on the last bolt before the lower off as clipping the lower off is really pumpy, unless I'm missing a finishing hold. Ok after a rest. Reckon it should go soon... Reckon this is harder than First Blood, certainly harder moves, just a bit shorter. If anything, this should be the 9+ and First Blood just a 9! No fig 4s required (on either).

First go on one of the harder ones. 4th? bolt hanger very loose. First time that I've ever had to use fig 4's in earnest! Excellent.
