Please refrain from climbing outside

Due to the ongoing spread of Covid-19, please abstain from climbing outside.

At UKC we are all climbers and we understand the strong urge to be outdoors as the weather is finally improving, but we feel this is no longer socially acceptable. You can read our statement here.

We have suspended the UKC Logbooks Top Ascents and Conditions pages and we will no longer accept ascents dated from 23rd March onwards. You can still upload your historic ascents.

Rob Davies 25 Sep, 2018 AltLd Hard start with sloping holds, needed several tries - definitely not 4b! Climbed down for a rest from sloping ledge, then Phil finished it. Dreadful loose finish with rope in place. VS 5a.

Neil Meredith 29 May, 2018 Lead O/S Slightly deceptive in that gear placements are not as forthcoming as would first appear, particularly lower down. Breaks can be slightly flared and you need to have a bit of a look to find decent placements. It's also quite mucky, presumably through debris being washed down from above.
