Rockfax Description
The thin right-hand crack above the ledge gives painful, finger-shredding climbing. It is in a very impressive situation but prepare yourself for a real battle; the climbing is not to everyone's liking. Climb easily up the rib as for Diagnosis, to a ledge. Move up into the crack and climb it all the way to the top. © Rockfax

Hang on the crux, pulled the ropes and went second go. One move wonder really, the move from the undercling is burly, but the rest is straight forward and certainly not a finger shredder as stated. Really good. Better done in the afternoon with a south or south easterly wind.

Ace climb bit of a awkward struggle in the crack.

Well chuffed with this! Was expecting to fall off but after some upping and downing, committed and felt like I climbed it pretty well. One of those rare moments when you are trying hard but its not a struggle. Great rock and cool, thin, sustained climbing.

Harder than I remembered it to be. Good effort to Dunc for the smooth ascent.

Great climbing, well protected and easy to place. This is not a painful finger shredder per guidebook description.

Chuffed with the O/S on this - it got E4 at the time but felt as hard as the softer E5's in the leap. Quite 'urgent' on the crux, the clock was ticking...
