The whole Eglwyseg escarpment is both a Site Of Special Scientific Interest and an European designated Special Area Of Conservation. This means that any deliberate or reckless damage or disturbance to the features of the site (inc. to nesting birds, vegetation clearance or drilling) could be regarded as a criminal act.

Rockfax Description
Start immediately right of a large ash and yew trees beneath a thin crack.1) 5a, 24m. Climb the thin crack to a grassy niche, then step right onto a rib and climb to the bottom of a steep crack which leads to the terrace and belay.2) 5a, 15m. Move right for 5m then pull around a blocky overhang to finish up a short groove. © Rockfax
