Had seconded Dan on it two days before. Felt easy. Was going to place the side runner but couldnt find anything particularly inspiring, ended up just powering first couple of hard sections before getting a couple of good nuts in. Had a sky hook on a decent flatty but it wasnt too confidence inspiring.

Sketched all the way up it. Used a skyhook in earnest with another mate to tension it. Then places a series of rubbish nuts. Darren lowered down some offsets but they didn't inspire any more confidence. Still, 2nd E5 onsight, just.

First E5! abseil inspection to look for gear. Placed some gear from the corner low down as guidebook indicates. Every move is doable and brilliant.

I spluttered my way up sort of but watching ed leading clean with beta was some of the coolest climbing ive witnessed in the flesh :)
