UKC Logbook Description
Good climbing up the thin crack just left of the corner. E5 only if done with the serious start, E4 and possibly better placing the crucial nut from the corner. Climb the seam direct with a tricky move to a good hold, and another crux leaving it. Continue with interest passed spaced gear to an easier finish.

Hard moves between rests, surprised not to fall. Can't imagine leading something like this though!

Hard moves but reasonable rests in between.

Sketched all the way up it. Used a skyhook in earnest with another mate to tension it. Then places a series of rubbish nuts. Darren lowered down some offsets but they didn't inspire any more confidence. Still, 2nd E5 onsight, just.

First E5! abseil inspection to look for gear. Placed some gear from the corner low down as guidebook indicates. Every move is doable and brilliant.
