23m. The slab and arete on the right end of the buttress overlooking Llyn Cowlyd at Adwyon Owen. (SH71663 61695)
Named after the numerous sonorous spikes passed en route and the leaders "Singing Rock" climbing harness.
Has its fair share of loose rock but can be climbed safely with a bit of care. Well worth doing for the commanding views and a fine exposed crux section.

Start round the right corner of the crag at the embedded block at the foot of the slab. Climb up trending left to some loose blocks. The groove above leads to an obvious traverse line leading left to the arete. Semi-mantel in an exposed position onto a ledge (crux). The block above should be passed on its left using cracks on the back wall (avoid pulling on the block). Climb the groove behind the Rowan to the top.
Threaded block anchor well back.
