The whole Eglwyseg escarpment is both a Site Of Special Scientific Interest and an European designated Special Area Of Conservation. This means that any deliberate or reckless damage or disturbance to the features of the site (inc. to nesting birds, vegetation clearance or drilling) could be regarded as a criminal act.

This Route can be found on the lower tier toward the far end of monks butress. The craglet on which the route climbs is a few hundred yards away from the crag proper and as such is outside the bird restricted area and is well worth the walk.
Climb up the centre of the wall to a hidden pocket, arrange gear in flake to the left and sprint for the obvious crack and top above. med nuts and micro wires will be found useful.
