Rockfax Description
Climb the grey slabby wall direct between cracks to undercuts at mid-height. Move right to a tree and then up and back left onto the arete with difficulty. Finish up the arete. © Rockfax

UKC Logbook Description
Start at the black slab right of The Fire Below. The middle of the slab without recourse to the cracks on either side has some excellent intricate moves. At the undercuts move right towards the tree. After stepping up some hard moves back left to gain the rib in fine position and the lower-off. The tree can be avoided (6c+).

Dave Turnbull 14 Jul, 2017 Lead O/S Good lower wall with some fingery moves. Didn't use the tree, but found the moves after that getting onto the left-hand rib harder. Guess if you used the tree you would get a better rest and work out a better sequence than I did, (I was very close to losing contact). Way harder than 'The Fire Below'.
