I felt quite inspired by the noticable yellow-ish band of rock that can be seen from far away in the village. I was glad to find that a route existed almost to the top of this face. The route is a magnificent 6b+ of 35m, slightly overhanging. Main difficulties are concentrated in 3 distinct boulders, separated by interesting rests. The last boulder is by far the hardest, with a tricky roof to negociate. I consider this one of the most beautiful 6b+ I've ever had the pleasure of leading. It stands on its own, isolated from the other sectors, goes the highest on the face giving a magnificent view on the village, and is very wild. A colony of red ants has taken a liking to the first hold of the route, which is slightly inconveninent, as one has to start the route slightly off to the left to avoid stinging bites before the second bold. Afterwards it's all clean on beautiful rock. Finding it can be a bit of a challenge, it's located after the first ladder of the "via ferrata" leading to the Haut de Gorbio area.
