5m. Quite possibly done before, but worth recording. The undercut arete below the finish of "Square Eagle", about 70m right of Alex's Roof as you face the crag. Climb the arete pretty much straight on, from standing. Watch the big tree in the landing zone. Nice couple of moves. Might scrape 7B I suppose.

BenNorman 27 Mar, 2015 Sent x This is well good, cleaned it years ago and dealt with the dead hanging tree branch (why the spikes there) but never came back to have a proper go. 3 goes today, could well be 7B. SPOILER ALERT: our beta was right to the pocket, left up to the arete and right heel on the positive part to go to the little pebble on right wall, turn heel to toe and chuck to sloper at top. Well good!

Joyce 1 Mar, 2015 Sent dnf Hmm, still baffling. Ross had some nails looking beta that almost worked (very impressive) and then we bumped into Elliot who talked about doing it in a way that I can't visualise at all. Hmmm. Good fun trying though.

Joyce 1 Jun, 2014 Sent dnf Second visit, this time with the extra firepower that is Tom and Nick M. Still didn't go. The sequence is right proper hard to read. A real conundrum, loving working it.
