Rockfax Description
(East Buttress) This route tackles the long groove in the huge slab which is reached by a loop, left then right at the bottom, to gain the grass ledges below the face. The lower section is easier and grassy; the upper slab provides better climbing.

This route tackles the huge slab which is reached by a loop left then right at the bottom to gain the grass ledges below the face. It involves nine pitches; the lower section is easier and grassy, the upper slab provides better climbing.
Pitches - 1) 3, 2) 4, 3) 4+, 4) 4, 5) 6-, 6) 6-, 7) 6, 8) 6, 9) 5.
Descent - From the top of the climbing, trend left to a grassy ramp that leads to the ridge. Follow this south until gullies lead leftwards (east) down to the valley and back towards the road.
