UKC

Right hand side of the main face of quarry on good rock. Climbs the wall right of the tree/juggy rampline initially on sidepulls (LH low, RH high) moving to tricky/fingery deadpoint into sloping crimp with RH in mini-break, LH up to good v-cleft crimp before a big move lands RH on top. Good hard, techy pulls all the way. Eliminates the rampline to the left but climbs independently (plus if you head this way you invariably end up in the tree). Name comes from sacrificing left hand index skin on first ascent - to gain a more advantageous position - and keeping in line with crag names.
