Much better climbing than its neighbour and well worth a star. Didn't even consider clipping the side pegs on the top groove as I didn't want to interrupt the flow of good moves.

Can't see how you can reach the pegs from the route! Good climb.

did a different start to this over a bulge/overhang which was thought to be e4 6a. the gear looked awkward to place. was glad to have a rope above me.

With the pegs. If you're half interested in doing it without, I'd say give it a good look. Clipping the pegs is probably the technical crux anyway and there really are no surprises at E4 this way.
