100m, 3 pitches.

Rockfax Description
100m. A route on the buttress edge overlooking the chimney of Patey's Route. Start up the initial chimney (the grade assumes a good build-up). After about 30m, take a ledge out right across the right wall. Follow the line of least resistance to the top, blocky ground with occasional slabby steps finishing on Aladdin's Mirror which can be ascended or descended. © Rockfax

UKC Logbook Description
The rib to the right of Patey's Route, start up this route and traverse out right onto crest, follow line of least resistance. Frequently attempted when much harder, needs build-up.

Great climb with interesting route finding. Hard going under (a lot of) powder!

Great route! Tricky travese onto the buttress, but short lived. Then straight forward ascent up banked out snow weaving inbetween blocks. Lots of rock gear. Ice in cracks solid and good neve where it mattered. Ran out almost 60m on P1 to belay on cramped ledge with peg. Another full pitch took us up to the open area on top of the butress to a good belay. P3 took us the the tower at the confluence of Aladin's and it's Mirror. Final pitch took a steep exit on the far left, avoiding the large cornices. Weather was blowing it's knockers off, making for a challenging yet rewarding experience. I love scottish winter routes!

Traversed higher up from Patey's Route (Gully) than the guidebook described path. Route was much harder than grade III. The first pitch was probably grade IV,5; lead by Rafal Malczyk.

1st pitch different than guidebooks suggest. Made this climb slightly harder - about grade IV.

Lead all pitches. There was plenty of snow and apart of one ice screw just below the crux ledge I could not find any belay. Stances were good.
