Rockfax Description
A very logical line up the corner between the two towers. Elegant bridging predominates.
Start in the corner between Torre del Barancio and Torre Romana.
1) IV+, 35m. Climb the corner with some awkward moves to a stance below a small roof.
2) IV,+ 35m. Continue up to the roof, climb past it with some good three-dimensional bridging onto the left wall then continue to a stance above.
3) IV, 30m. Continue in the line of the corner to a stance just below the top of the corner.
4) IV-, 15m. Exit the corner on the right and climb a slab to reach the belay just below the shattered summit. © Rockfax

Lead pitch 1 and 1/2 of pitch 2. Rock very cold, polished in places and quite sustained. Got scared and lowered off :-0

Of the 3 "classics" on the Torre Seconda I found this the most enjoyable, perhaps because the route is obvious. The abseil down looks a very long way but a pair of 50m routes will allow you to reach the bottom

Definitely 4+ at times. Great little route, much less polished than many of the others nearby and a more logical line really. Unclear route near the top - ended up following some (sport 6a?) bolted line for last 15m to abseil ledge.

I lead P1, P3+4, Patrick did P2. Cold, but it was a good route, if polished in places.

Led P2. In the wet for P2, and P3-4 (done as one). Nice, thought-provoking, 3D climbing on P2 and P3.
