Start at the base of the buttress some 20m right of North Gully at a short but well defined groove. This is well left of where the buttress base is overhanging. Climb the groove and traverse right, continue upwards, then move back left to a groove, climbed to below an awkward step (50m). Climb the step and a corner, stepping left out of it to a narrow ledge and the base of a short shallow chimney. Climb this and step right beneath a steep rocky section (30m). Climb the rocky section to easier ground and move up to block belays on left (40m). Continue up easier ground to the base of a ridge which is formed on the right bank of the right branch of North Gully (50m). Climb the ridge to its finish on broken ground.
