A short but fun little number of the high hanging crack, mild for the grade (and would be HVS 5b on grit). Scramble up to the crack and romp up it on improving jams to top-out on posing jugs.

A long siege ensued, placing gear, moving up, placing more, down-climbing. After doing this four times I set about trying to move off the amazing undercling and get established in the crack. By the time I got comfortable jams I decided why not use the new jamming gloves I'd left at the top of the crag?! So I down-climbed to the floor, soloed up Corner Climb and abbed back down to start again...Right, down to business. Got going on the crack. Found usable jams, feet weren't too bad. But then a balls-up, mistakenly crossing my hands and had to take on the rope. After a wee rest continued, with increasing ease, to the top. It's great value, obligatory jamming, and damn it, I could have done it clean!

Solo top rope. Nails hard! Couldn't get anywhere in the crack. Basically I can't jam - my attempts felt very painful, and also totally insecure. Rubbish!

Fell off 4 times. Very tough.

Short but brutal - every move is 5b or 5c. Almost debilitatingly well protected.
