A very important sea- bird nesting area and seasonal restrictions apply to the whole crag.

Blacksmith zawn, south stack. Start 5m right of the abseil line just before you scramble down to the start of "The Compass"
Requires an unusually large rack than its length would suggest. Follow an obvious Gogarth crack fault line using a variety of techniques weaving in and out to limit the difficulties. Some gardening may be required and holds testing prior to commitment. Belay 10m back from top at a fridge size block split by a crack.
