βeta: The large protruding flake at the top (as mentioned in the CC Guide) appears to be composed of unstable blocks of rubble but does not need to be touched. I found the wall to the left, reached by traversing under the flake, seems stable and goes pleasantly at the same grade as the rest of the climb, with no need to bridge across onto the rubble. | ||

βeta: The finish is now diabolically loose. A shame after the pleasant well-protected climbing below. Maybe Mild XS 4b. I recommend heading diagonally left at the top towards the top of Whispering Wind rather than bridging back onto the big flake and straight up from there. It's useful to have some cams left to protect the top. | βeta? | |
