Gate for Canto Cochino opens  at 9 a.m. Once the gate is open follow the road through the forest to its end where there is a large car park and Bar. Gate closes at 10pm - Dont be late!!

Also you should check seasonal bird bans, ask the rangers at the main entrance for Canto Ccochino (if they are there)

There is no restriction at the El Tranco car park, and no barrier - you can access all the park from here but its a longer walk!

thought it was called la Pucha (IV+), but felt far too hard for the grade, and now not sure. Line of new looking resin bolts in between two lines of expansion bolts, so expect it may have been put up since the guide we were using was published. There is also a line of some very rusty looking old bolts of some description one route further to the right for reference. Slightly tricky start on relatively steep slab, then easier climbing until about 2/3 way up when goes into a small dip then out again, climbing up and over a vertical bit with almost nothing to hold onto (but just enough to make it fun). Then very easy climbing up to an anchor slightly to the right. Looks like there are also more bolts going up higher for a second pitch, but not clear and didn't explore any further. Must have been at least 20m to the anchor, maybe longer. Felt like a UK 6a+/b at the crux moves. Nice climb overall.
