now a sport route. Tricky! Breaking left at the top to exhumation finish looks better quality, will do next time

Finished up Exumation as it looked like the better bit of rock. Interesting first half.

In a hurry so didn't finish it off. Not obvious. Engaging all the way.

Nice route. Shed a couple of large holds on the way through. (6c+ seemed fair)

Sport 6c+

6c+ sport route. One fall while chatting about the polish. Dogged the last two bolts to enable mad dash back for my train, made with seconds to spare. Everything points the wrong way?!

Holister 05/Sep/15 Lead O/S

did the 6c+ finish, a tricky last move but a bit eliminate.

Pinged off the lower bit first go. Typical Avon style climbing: intricate and completely unobvious. Felt hard for 6c, but I made a bit of a pigs ear of it.

Did the sport version. 2 lead dogs, 1st bolt to bolt resting then 2nd with a long link up. Seemed hard for the grade compared to the other 6cs

AndThenIWasFlying 16/Jun/15 Lead dog

Bolt to bolt first go and not much better the 2nd. Will go quick if I can remember the sequence. Harder than 6c

Exhumation finish. The most Avon style of routes I have done in a while!

Climbed as sport 6C+, grabbed chains at top...

pheotleyr 31/Jul/14 Lead RP

Finishing left at the top - supposedly only F6c, not easy still and very pumpy altogether.

pheotleyr 30/Jul/14 Lead dog

Two hard sections. Good climbing. The slightly eliminate crux at the end is a bit annoying, avoiding it on the left seems more natural.

pheotleyr 30/Jul/14 TR RP

Clean top-rope after a dogged lead, avoiding the top crux on the left, which supposedly warrants 6c only.

zcsharp 29/Jul/14 Lead

Sport climb now. Manage to not do any of the 3 different finishes and and go directly up following Manoir de Kerlut to its bolted belay. Think my way made it 6b+/6c?

This is now retrobolted and given 6c+ but its a tad harder than that. Had to grab the crab at the anchors because there's not much else to hold onto. A lot of very insecure climbing.

So tricky at this grade.

Johnny Baker 26/Mar/14 Lead β

This had just been retro bolted 2 mins before - finished up the top wall of exhumation. Needs a spoonful of cement or a bit of traffic to harden up, otherwise some great 6c/6c+ climbing
