Quarries 1,2 and 3 are owned by the Wills Estate and no formal agreement for climbing is in place.
Quarries 4 and 5 are owned by the National Trust, climbers are asked to have civil liability insurance when climbing here.
Nightingale Valley and Burwalls Cave - climbing is not permitted.
Crossing the railway line or climbing routes on railway land (Railway Tunnel Walls) constitutes criminal trespass - don't do it.
Quarry 4 occasionally sees nesting peregrines, please check the RAD for updates.
The shallow depression between Quartet for the End of Time and Plebgate. Make awkward moves to get stood on the hand ledge at 2.5m. Rock up to the two small holes. The deeper of the two will take a hand placed 10mm bolt (70-80mm long) with wooden clothes pegs taped either side. There are fiddly micro-wires a bit higher on the left. Make a series of hard moves using edges on the right side of the depression to enable a rock up onto the reasonable foothold. Some really tenuous moves leftwards will lead to another hand ledge below the top.
