Restricted Access

Parking is at the beach end near some public toilets. Between South Stack and Trearddur Bay. Coastal paths lead in both directions for access.

Dates: 1 March to 30 June

Reason: Nesting Birds

There are nesting choughs near “Yellow Brick Road”, and at “The Hanging Basket of Babylon” to “The Blue Horse”. Please avoid all of these routes during nesting seasons. 

30m. Start at the base of fisherman's friend and climb is left arete to the steepening. From here follow the slab line of weakness up rightwards to a good ledge just below the final flying buttress. Step up right onto a higher ledge and make two steep moves to over the lip.
Reputedly a old G.Smith route not reported, rediscovered by M.Reeves
