Rockfax Description
A direct variation of Esteban Alteri. Start below the thin groove.
1) 6b, 30m. Gain the groove and make tenuous moves up it to the belay.
2) 6a+, 10m. Climb directly from the belay to gain the ledge above.
3) 6b, 30m. The thin flake above is very tricky. Follow it up to the nose and then back up and right to a groove that leads back left to the tree belay.
4) 5a, 30m. As for Esteban Alteri. © Rockfax

UKC Logbook Description
P1 - Some slabby moves protected with bolts to reach a hand crack. Power the crack up to the belay (6b, 30m)
P2 - Climb the bolted tenuous slab right above the belay (6a+, 12m)
P3 - Reach the flake above the belay and follow it up for some meters to a piton (tricky moves, tricky gear placements). Climb diagonally right and then up to a ledge with a tree (same belay as for Esteban Altieri)(6b, 30m)
P4 - Climb up the crack as for Esteban Altieri (5b, 30m)

Gear:
Small and medium size cams (up to BD #3), some wires and a set of quickdraws would be useful
