3 pitches. After a deep freeze a number of good slabby icefalls may form on the watercourse. if formed, ice can be viewed from the Drovers inn car park. The first main pitch is awaiting a true first winter ascent of the main flow, having been climbed up thin ice to the right (EDIT: the main flow has now been climbed). this is barely 5 minutes walk from the road. If not fully formed, follow the river up for a further 10 minutes or so to a roughly 15m high steep ice slide which forms more readily and can be climbed by a number of lines. Between the two main pitches a number of smaller ice steps can also be climbed, and a scramble up the frozen riverbed is fun in its own right. The crux of the route may be avoiding falling through thin ice into a plunge pool!

Robert Giddy and David Webster (first recorded ascent, likely done before) 12/Dec/2017.
