Please refrain from climbing outside

Due to the ongoing spread of Covid-19, please abstain from climbing outside.

At UKC we are all climbers and we understand the strong urge to be outdoors as the weather is finally improving, but we feel this is no longer socially acceptable. You can read our statement here.

We have suspended the UKC Logbooks Top Ascents and Conditions pages and we will no longer accept ascents dated from 23rd March onwards. You can still upload your historic ascents.

15m. Start right of the crack of 0l

Pyrrhic Victory and gain good slots. Pass the bolt to gain a good ledge (crux) and climb up to the roof crack. Pull around this and up to a good ledge. Climb the easier slabby section to the belay.

βeta: Very hard to grade as it's really just one move past the first bolt.

MrJoshua 13 Aug, 2019 Lead RP This time round I managed to get the first moves first time round without much hassle. A bit of a brush and bit of extra beta helped!

jeffmearns 1 May, 2019 Lead RP Hmm. not sure if this counts as a lead as, after top roping and thanks to the beta from Richard, lead it with the second bolt clip-sticked. Anyway, went straight for the break with right hand but twated the bolt. Easier with left drop knee and straight up to break with left hand, bypassing the intermediate right. Great route.

Ruthcharlton 1 May, 2019 TR dog Great route, but need to be taller / springier: missed the first boulder problem out, cos I can't do it :-/ Good holds after that, especially on flake, though feet not so much. Moving right at break okay on a top rope! Top move strange with right hand undercut, to the left, and high right foot. Otherwise not many handholds
