βeta: As per other notes, it's quite easy to go too far right on pitch 4, just before the crux. If you do, you end up on the right hand end of a chossy ledge on friable rock with no good placements. You probably won't feel super psyched to explore/traverse left at this point and a trio of bolts to the right will only confuse you more. The crux crack is fairly easy to identify from the start of the pitch (wrt to the topo, particularly the hand-drawn one in the red/yellow Cortina guide book) to lock this in and be sure to aim for the bottom of it in the second half of the pitch! | ||
