6m. Start as Botany Bay, but go left into shallow groove and a precarious finish.

Hahaha what larks. Decided not to read the guide and have a crack at this with a couple of pads at the bottom thinking it looks like VS. Freddie gave it a go but couldn't commit or something. I went up and felling confident I work my way through the moves trusting the terrible foot holds and less than perfect conditions I found myself with a hand on the top. unfortunately its a brimham top out and the sandy mossy sloper I was trusting gave way and I went for the ride to the ground missing both pads I stood up looking to freddie and we couldnt stop laughing perfectly unscathed we checked the guide and found out the grade. Pretty fun good route felt like a 6a+ boulder problem.

Attempted with Joe as a truly onsight VS solo, part of warming up. With an error there of 5 trad grades, I've learnt that my skills in judging route difficulty more urgently require attention than my climbing. Both my attempts ended with jumping off on to the pads, not wanting to commit to the damp smeary feet or the greasy handhold. Joe's almost-success on his first go and emergence unscathed from a 6m groundfall was the highlight of the day. This may go when I'm feeling braver or in better conditions!

Got it 2nd go on top rope then did it 3 times cleanly, but didn't feel confident enough to go for the solo/lead due to the scrittly top out.
