Rockfax Description
7m. After a boulder problem start (6a?), head up the narrow left-hand face of the Pinnacle using the right arete when needed. An indefinite and escapable line which looks better than it really is. © Rockfax

JoeFoster59 25 Aug, 2017 Lead dnf Bollocks. Tired from laps of wall bar and repeated attempts at the direct start to bitter end and with the air slightly humid this just didn't happen. Felt slippy and weak on the first break. To be fair it shouldn't be lead it should be soloed above a pad. Maybe next time. Also how do you do it with out the right arete?

Calum Wadsworth 22 Jul, 2014 Lead O/S 5c is right but reckon it should merit at least E1. Would be really difficult to do the start without the arete and stupidly eliminate to do the top without it. Nice route though.

mikecollins 11 May, 2011 2nd No way is this HVS - starting section up to the first break is pretty much blank without the use of the arête, with no protection and the potential for a bad spin off. After that, maybe HVS as protection is reasonable.
